In Cowboy in Africa, Chuck stars as the world champion rodeo cowboy Jim Sinclair. He was hired by an English landowner Commander Hayes, played by Ronald Howard, to bring modern ranching methods to his game ranch in Kenya.
The show also included Tom Nardini as John Henry and Gerald Edwards as Samson. The series was based on Ivan Tors' theatrical film Africa-Texas Style and was shot in Africa for the backgrounds and at the Africa Park in Southern California. There were 26 episodes and the series ran from September 11, 1967 through April 1, 1968.
